At 80 years old, she still has gas in her acting engine and continues to bring us memorable rides.

She has been in a myriad of films. Some may remember her for her role in The Cincinnati Kid where she had the credit of playing the role of Melba. Some may also remember her in Bye Bye Birdie or the Grumpy Old Men film series. Time and time again, the actress has displayed such incredible talent. Arnold Schwarzenegger | 73 years old

Seventy-three – that’s how many years Arnold Schwarzenegger has been roaming this place called earth, and boy has he been exploring. There is no doubt he is one of the most adventurous and talented personalities in Hollywood. Schwarzenegger is not only an actor, but he is also a producer and a businessman. In addition to that, he has also been a former bodybuilder and politician.

Despite all the scenes he has seen and all the things he has done, he is not done yet. He still has gas, and he’s still running the show. Recently, he was in Superhero Kindergarten, where he plays Captain Courage. If you have any kids or you’re just a kid at heart, then the show should definitely be on your to-watch list. You can also just wait for his next show since it is expected that we will see more of Schwarzenegger in the future.

Sylvester Stallone | 74 years old

While our beloved celebrities all worked hard to be where they are today, Sylvester Stallone is one of those who had to hustle harder. Before he reached his well-earned place in Hollywood, he faced a lot of struggles. In the end, all his investments paid off as he is now one of the most prominent and respected names in the industry.

Maybe it’s because he had to work hard to get what he has now, but Stallone is not yet ready to give up his place just yet. It looks like he’s still too busy having fun and working hard. Maybe working hard is just in the actor’s genes because at 74 years old, Stallone is still rolling, and there’s no indication that he plans on stopping anytime soon. Currently, he’s in two upcoming movies. If you miss seeing the actor on screen, then you better watch out for Samaritan and The Suicide Squad!

Barbra Streisand | 80 years old

With more than seven decades in the industry, Barbra Streisand has definitely accomplished a lot in Hollywood. One of those accomplishments would be how she managed to rack up the EGOT. Now, what is the EGOT you ask? Well, it means that she has managed to get an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony! That’s how amazing the actress is.

Now nearing her 80s, the star has proven that age is definitely just a number. Despite all her achievements and success, it looks like the star still has a lot of gas as it doesn’t seem she’s slowing down anytime soon. Recently, she released her 36th album, Walls. We hope she shares some of her upcoming projects or future plans in the industry with the public. Being the queen that a lot stan, we think that she won’t just leave the show with unfinished business.

Tom Selleck | 76 years old

Tom Selleck was born on January 29, 1945, and he started his career in 1965. The star is already 76 years old and has offered almost six decades of his life to the industry. Of course, he has already made his mark in Hollywood, but it looks like he has no plan of taking his well-deserved rest just yet!

The star is in the series Blue Bloods, and the show just got renewed for its twelfth season in 2021–2022, and by the looks of it, the star is definitely going to be part of it. He has already gotten credit in more than 50 projects, and we could probably expect that the star plans to add at least a dozen more. While others have exited the industry quite early, Selleck doesn’t look like he plans to leave, or at least he doesn’t plan to leave anytime soon. Selleck fans, rejoice!

William Shatner | 90 years old

William Shatner has been in Hollywood for more than seven decades, and it is evident that he truly loves the industry. He is an actor, but along the way, he has also branched out to other parts of the industry. Shatner has tried his magic behind the camera by being a director, screenwriter, and producer. Furthermore, he is also known as a singer and author. Can you name another celebrity who has done the same feat?

Despite all his accomplishments and the success of his investments in Hollywood, the star doesn’t look like he plans on stopping anytime soon. Recently, he released his album The Blues, and he definitely hasn’t lost his touch yet as the album peaked at no.1 on the Billboard Blues Chart that year. We think it’s safe to say that there is still more to expect from the star.

Catherine Bach | 67 years old

Catherine Bachman, or Catherine Bach as she is famously known, is already 67 years of age and is showing no signs of stopping in her career. She rose to stardom thanks to her role of Daisy Duke in the Dukes of Hazzard. She eventually changed her last name from Bachman to Bach after deciding to pursue a career in acting. Her debut film was together with Burt Lancaster in The Midnight Man which was released in 1973. She followed this up with Thunderbolt and Lightfoot.

However, it was her role as Daisy Duke that propelled her to the limelight. That outfit that she was sporting in the show? She gets the credit for it since she was actually the one who came up with it. The producers were thinking of her wearing a turtleneck top, skirt, and boots. Fortunately, they ran with her own outfit which was a plaid top and cropped shorts and high heels which looked better. Today, the actress is still working and was recently part of the show The Young and The Restless.

Cher | 74 years old

The Goddess of Pop, Cher, is still looking great at 74 years old. Although many assumed that she will be retiring from the limelight, the singer isn’t saying goodbye to her career just yet. Unfortunately, her Las Vegas residency was cut short due to the current global situation, but the timing was right since she has other matters to attend to.

When Cher was young, she did not work on getting a degree as she had already set her mind on becoming a singer. She then became friends with Sonny Bono who later became her husband. The Sonny & Cher duo soon went their separate ways, but for Cher’s career, it was just getting better. The duo eventually reunited to do The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour but as soon as their separation became legal, Cher went back to solo. Aside from her music career, she also acted on the side with films like Witches of Eastwick, Burlesque, and Mermaids. Let’s not forget her philanthropy work as well. From the looks of it, she is not slowing down at all, and in fact, it looks like she is coming up with more activities to do.

Christie Brinkley | 67 years old

At 67 years old, Christie Brinkley still looks amazing! She has been quite conscious about her health ever since she broke her arm while practicing for Dancing with the Stars. She was replaced by her daughter for the show. This also led her to undergo surgery to have her hip replaced and other procedures that enabled her body to function better. Her decision has certainly helped her to become more mobile, especially during this current global situation.

The supermodel turned actress turned entrepreneur is still very much active these days. She has appeared on film, on TV, and even in theaters, too. She was part of the cast of The Goldbergs, had a recurring role in Parks and Recreation, and was a guest star in Mad About You. Her investment money didn’t all come from her work in the industry, but her real estate properties as well. It seems that she does know how to make her earnings work for her.

Christopher Walken |78 years old

The Prophecy star Christopher Walken has no plans of retiring just yet. At 78 years old, he seems bent on still making movies instead of enjoying the fruits of his labor in his home or some other property. In an interview in 2015, the actor had already stated that he doesn’t want to retire at all. The Sleepy Hollow alum does have quite the resume with epic films – both funny and serious ones – and it seems that he will add more to that list as the years go by. Walken also did a cameo with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis and other projects. This included A View to a Kill, Seven Psychopaths, Man on Fire, Catch Me If You Can, and The Deer Hunter. Not only was he acting on-screen, but he also appeared in plays like Macbeth, Hamlet, and Romeo and Juliet, just to name a few. There had been rumors that he was going to say goodbye to Hollywood but it seems that they were just that, rumors.

Did you know that Walken didn’t dream of being an actor? The credit goes to his mother who brought her sons with her to do TV auditions.

Catherine O’Hara |67 years old

Catherine O’Hara may be a familiar name to most of you since she played the mother of Macaulay Culkin in the movies Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Her career began with SCTV where she joined fellow actors John Candy, Harold Ramis, and Andrea Martin. She also wrote for the series, too. However, her film debut was in Nothing Personal. It was followed by more film projects like After Hours, Heartburn, Beetlejuice, Penelope, and Away We Go. The actress now has more than 100 film credits to her name and she is still doing well in the industry.

O’Hara hasn’t retired yet as she is a regular cast member in Schitt’s Creek. Her role here won her an Emmy and a Golden Globe which, to her credit, is due to her amazing performance in the comedy series. Her husband, Bo Welch, even played a sound of applause on his phone during her acceptance speech, and later, an orchestra as well, which showed that the two know how to have some fun in their relationship.

Cybill Shepherd |71 years old

Cybill Shepherd began her career as a model until she was spotted by the wife of director Peter Bogdanovich who eventually cast her in The Last Picture Show. Her performance here earned her a Golden Globe nomination. She also starred in The Heartbreak Kid and Taxi Driver, then she also started appearing on TV. Shepherd stood out with her performance in the TV show Moonlighting together with Bruce Willis. It was also for this role that she won two Golden Globes.

Shepherd’s career is definitely one for the books as she has also dabbled in music. She debuted on Broadway back in 2012. You would have thought that she would be gearing up for retirement but she has not. Her agent had already told her to downsize her home to avoid paying too much of her investment money on taxes and other fees, which she did. Her current home is just right for the actress and her way of life.

Dick Van Dyke | 95 years old

Dick Van Dyke may have thought that he was going to retire but it seems the magic of Mary Poppins is still with him. His latest appearance was in the Mary Poppins Return with Emily Blunt as the lead. The star-studded movie got much better with Van Dyke in it. The actor admitted that he just drifted into acting, but it seems that he had left a lasting impression with his performance. Thanks to his show, The Dick Van Dyke Show, he became a household name and his career just grew afterward.

Van Dyke also starred in movies like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Night at the Museum, and more. It seems that even though the actor has retired several times, there is always a reason for him to appear in movies again and again. He does have other projects in the bag like being an author of not just one but five books. Van Dyke sure knows how to keep his fans coming back for more. His investments in his books are one of the reasons why they are a crowd-pleaser.

Dolly Parton | 75 years old

Dolly Parton is not planning on leaving the music industry any time soon. The music icon has been singing since she was 13 years old. For Parton, she rather wears herself out than rust out, which is one of the reasons why she won’t be retiring at all. She did say that she will only slow down if she or her husband has any health issues. However, other than that, she will continue performing just like what she always does. This is great news for her fans because they can still catch the singer doing what she loves best.

What has Parton been doing lately? It seems that philanthropy is in the works as was revealed that she had donated $1 million to help with the research for a vaccine for this virus affecting the entire world. The singer has funded numerous charities over the course of her career. This is not surprising given that she has been earning royalties from her music. She has used her earnings as investments not just in real estate but also to fund institutions, too.

To his credit, he is one of the most Emmy-honored actors on TV who has numerous wins to his name. For those who haven’t watched his breakthrough project, Asner is best known for his role as the crotchety old man in the movie, Up. He did other films too like Elf, Not Another B Movie, and Too Big To Fail. His latest was in Dead to Me which was a Netflix dark comedy where he co-starred with Christina Applegate.

He isn’t going anywhere even though he is already in his 90s. He worked in Briarpatch together with Rosario Dawson which is a bit of a Bourne Identity spinoff. In the show, he is this cranky newspaper publisher which he had performed well. The actor admitted that thanks to his career in showbiz, he doesn’t have to worry about paying his mortgage because money was always coming in.

Ellen Barkin |67 years old

Ellen Barkin still looks amazing even at 67 years old. Her breakthrough was from the film Diner which was released in 1982. After that, she had landed numerous roles that helped her rise to fame. What endeared her to the public was her signature squinty eyes and tough persona. Her facial features were a bit off-kilter but this just added to her overall beauty. This was also one of the reasons why she was cast in the Sea of Love which she co-starred with Al Pacino.

The actress got her degree in history and drama then pursued acting education at the Actors Studio in New York. After Diner, Barkin landed several roles like in Tender Mercies, The Big Easy, Switch, The White River Kid, and Ocean’s Thirteen. She might have slowed down with her film projects but she doesn’t have to worry about money since her real estate portfolio is already quite impressive.

Emma Thompson |62 years old

The Love, Actually alum, Emma Thompson, is an English actress and writer who hasn’t retired from acting just yet. She got a degree in English and was heavily invested in theater plays back while she was in school. She later got a role on TV for the program, There’s Nothing to Worry About! This was followed by Fortunes of War as well as Tutti Frutti. She is also an award-winning actress, thanks to her performance in Remains of the Day and Sense and Sensibility.

The actress has recently faced some end-of-middle-age identity crisis when she started asking who she was in real life. With all the roles that she had portrayed, it is not unusual to get lost along the way. What she is sure about though is that she is an activist and environmentalist which befits her. She did shock the media when she appeared in Buckingham Palace wearing white sneakers, which she did have a snappy retort stating that it was made by Stella McCartney. Fortunately, she is still very much active as an actress, though she is quite picky with her roles.

Eva Marie Saint |96 years old

Eva Marie Saint started her acting career even before she finished getting her degree from Bowling Green State University. She worked as a page at the NBC Studios and later appeared in commercials as well as small roles on TV. As a matter of fact, Saint was in the first-ever TV program to be aired. She had been on TV from the ‘40s to the ‘50s. She has also appeared in the film, On the Waterfront, which won her an Oscar. From there, she just kept on shooting film after film and so on.

Currently, she is still active as an actress as she hasn’t really said goodbye to acting. In fact, when she was 93 years old, she was presented with an Oscar. Saint has also beaten the odds of celebrity couples as she and her husband, Jeffrey Hayden, had a long marriage until his passing at the age of 90. Although she was hit hard by the passing of her husband, her family and therapist had helped her get through it day by day.

Geena Davis | 65 years old

Many assumed that Geena Davis has already retired from acting, but you might be surprised that she hasn’t. Right now she is focused on running one of her investments, which is called the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, where her goal was to create more roles for women. She had been hard at work gathering data on gender roles and representations in the media since 2004 which is the reason why the actress has not been filming since then.

She is also known to be picky with the roles being offered to her which she admitted in an interview in 2019. Davis found that age discrimination is real in Hollywood as she got fewer roles. Although many would say that it was not true, the actress stuck to her guns and is simply waiting for the right role to come along her way. Fortunately, she doesn’t have to worry about money matters since she knows how to invest her earnings.

Goldie Hawn| 75 years old

Goldie Hawn’s breakthrough role was in Cactus Flower where she was able to show the world that she wasn’t the dumb blonde that she was portraying in Laugh-In. Her performance in this film earned her an Oscar for Best Actress. She went on to star in numerous films from the ‘70s all the way to the ‘90s.

Hawn was said to have retired from Hollywood 15 years ago but it seems that wasn’t the case. Initially, it was because she was already in her 50s, and roles for her age were scarce. Fortunately, she came back with a splash thanks to fellow actress Amy Schumer who wanted her to be cast in the film, Snatched. She did get the part, which helped restart her career. She also appeared in The Christmas Chronicles with her real-life partner, Kurt Russell, and then worked on other projects such as Family Jewels. Luckily, we will be seeing more of the feisty Goldie on screen these days, and to her credit, she deserves to be in the limelight more often.

The actor thought it fit that he would return as the adventurer since the character has grown over time. Ford further stated that what he liked about playing Indy was that he always prevailed even though he was frightened to death about snakes.

Ford didn’t start out as an actor and was a carpenter to earn investment money for his growing family. At that time, he was doing carpentry work for George Lucas as well as Francis Ford Coppola. Lucas hired Harrison to read some lines with other actors during the casting call for Star Wars and later on decided to cast Ford himself. It was in Star Wars that he gained superstar status and then helped him land numerous roles, too.

With back-to-back brilliant roles in Thelma & Louise, Mortal Thoughts, and Bad Lieutenant, the actor cemented his degree as one of Hollywood’s finest performers. Over the years, Keitel is the go-to guy if the film requires a potentially volatile everyman, grizzled police force veterans, or G-men. As we reflect on all of the unforgettable memories, we can’t help but think that he won’t stop working anytime soon.

Her official film debut came in Cul-de-sac, but she is best known for her appearance in the James Bond film Casino Royale. Few of these roles allowed her to convey something other than slow-burning feminism. However, it was the movies like Day for Night, Rich and Famous, and Under the Volcano that gradually exposed her talent for insightful, complex performances.

As the new millennium unfolds, Bisset remains successful and in demand, portraying everything from stalwart mothers to seductive socialites. She appeared in an episode of the hit television series Nip/Tuck in 2003 as well as in movies Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Summer Solstice, and the action film Domino. Her astonishing beauty remained constant throughout her four-decade career, ensuring her iconic status as one of cinema’s outstanding foreign royalties.

Her career began to take off in 1960 with her performance in There Was A Little Girl, and eventually, she made her film debut in the romantic comedy Tall Story.

In the years that followed, she continued to juggle film and theater, appearing in films such as The Chapman Report and Barbarella. Despite her acting success, Fonda had other ambitions, such as revolutionizing the fitness industry. Jane Fonda’s Workout, her aerobics studio in Los Angeles, ultimately became the start of her “multi-million dollar fitness empire.” She is still acting 65 years after her first stage appearance. Most recently, we can see her in Netflix’s longest-running series, Grace and Frankie. Although you’ll have to wait until 2022 to see it, Dolly Parton will be reuniting with her and other 9-to-5 pals, so it’ll be well worth the wait.

Jennifer Lopez | 51 years old

Jennifer Lopez’s depiction of Selena in the 1997 biopic catapulted her into superstar status, including a degree as an iconic pop star in her own right. However, before she moved to New York to become a “popular movie star,” she tried her luck as a dancer. In the ‘90s, Lopez then appeared in films such as Selena and Anaconda, and in the same month, she lent her voice to the animated film Antz. After establishing herself as a successful actress, she ventured into the music scene.

Soon enough, her first hit, If You Had My Love, reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1999. With her second album, Lopez became the first female to get number one on the album and box office in the same week. Her sensational dances in music videos boosted sales and elevated her to celebrity status quickly. Judi Dench | 86 years old

Judi Dench has a long and illustrious career on stage, film, and television. She was awarded an Order of the British Empire in 1970 and was made a Dame of the British Empire in 1988 after winning the British Academy Award five times. She worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre, parlaying a prolific stage career. She soon entered films, playing a minor role in The Third Secret.

Dench’s name did not become known to a certain degree until the mid-1980s. Following her supporting role in Henry V, she shifted her focus to the present with her role as M in GoldenEye. She reprised the position in the subsequent Brosnan 007 films, bringing a flinty beauty to a typically male role. Dench’s success as M had the added benefit of getting her to a new audience, and she received more international acclaim in 1997. She also played the title character in the 1984 romantic comedy The Woman In Red. LeBrock went on to increase her film credits with portrayals in Betrayal of the Dove, Hard Bounty, and Wrongfully Accused. On top of that, the worldwide success of her movie Top Gun cemented her as a national icon. McGillis went on to gain more film credits, such as in The Babe and Painted Angels. Her early successes, however, proved difficult to replicate, with films failing to attract an audience. McGillis eventually found fulfillment in live stage work, which she balanced with occasional film ventures like The Monkey’s Mask and The Innkeepers. She refused to be labeled as the “it” starlet, opting for a direction that, although not financially rewarding, allowed her to discover herself as an actress and an individual.

She completed her mission and got more as she caught the attention of Columbia Pictures president Harry Cohn, who offered her a contract and groomed her for a career in Hollywood.
