Solange Knowles

Although siblings prefer to be distinct from each other, one can’t deny that some end up with a degree of similarity. The same can be said for Solange Knowles, Beyoncé’s younger sister. After performing as a backup dancer for her sister’s group Destiny’s Child, Knowles pursued her own solo career. Through the years, she has released more than a few hit albums, including Solo Star and A Seat at the Table – the latter was her first number-one album in America.

Like her sister, Solange Knowles is also fond of cherishing a few moments with tattoos. One such piece of body art she wears is a pair of angel wings on her left wrist, a symbol she associates with the cycle of life. What’s more, Knowles got her son Julez’s name on her hip.
