Like many others, Drake did everything he could to help his family settle with their home and personal loans. For most of his teenage years, he pursued an acting career starring in TV shows like Degrassi: The Next Generation. Eventually, after being inspired by music artists like Jay-Z, Drake decided to make a few songs of his own, too. Looking back at it now, it’s safe to say Drake made the best decision for his career and family.

For the rapper-songwriter, his tattoos are often associated with significant people in his life. One such tattoo is a portrait of fellow rapper and good friend Lil Wayne. Over the years, other artists he admires also found their way into his tattoo collection, including Boy Better Know and Sade Adu. Besides, a flower and bee are inked on Drake’s right shoulder.
